After the immense success of Kannada movie Kantara: A Legend, the makers are set to carry Kantara 2 on to the large screens. Titled Kantara Legend: Chapter 2, the movie is in truth a prequel that appears again on the delivery of the folklore on which the unique movie was primarily based.
Hombale Movies on Monday unveiled the teaser and first look of the much-anticipated movie that may launch in seven languages.
Directed by Rishab Shetty, Kantara, set in a village in Dakshina Kannada, revolved round a Kambala champion (essayed by Rishab) who’s at loggerheads with a forest officer. The movie was hailed for its visible excellence that captured the folklore of the state. Kambala is an annual race, held from November to March in coastal Karnataka, during which a jockey drives a pair of buffaloes via muddy tracks.
